Contact Nature announces that the closure of the sea trout fishing season on Rivière-à-Mars will be held on September 15, 2019, as will the Atlantic salmon season.
This decision is explained by the low run of sea trout.
Contact Nature's mission is to protect the Rivière-à-Mars wildlife environment and make the decision to do so, with the agreement of the Ministry of Forests, Wildlife and Parks.

Please note that the river reception cabin will be open from 10 am to 3 pm from Wednesday, September 18 to Sunday, September 22 for the fishway visits.
