Good news! The first measures will be taken this Wednesday, January 5 in the ice fishing village of Grande-Baie.
We will then continue with the ice village of Anse-à-Benjamin when the ice bridge is finished.
100 ice cores per site will be taken. Note that about 2 days per village are necessary for a complete measurement.
Remember that 8 inches of effective ice are needed to demarcate the villages, 10 inches to clear snow and 12 inches to start modulated boarding.
The result of the measurements will be published as soon as possible.
