Contact Nature is committed to a low carbon approach and finances the purchase of Gold Standard certified carbon credits representing 800 tonnes of GHG through 1% Outdoor Fund for the Planet.
The GHG inventory and the purchase of carbon credits are carried out in partnership with Planetair. The choice of Gold Standard certified carbon credits is motivated by our desire to favor projects to reduce GHG emissions and to support North-South solidarity in a logic of climate justice.

On Thursday, November 3, the gala of the Prix Excellence Plein Air 2021 of Aventure Écotourisme Québec was held. Contact Nature was the winner in the Innovation in crisis situation category.
Contact Nature was named Most Dedicated Regional Natural Environment Stewardship & Ecotourism Enterprise in Acquisition International’s 2023 Nonprofit Awards.
At the 2021 Economic Merit Gala of the Saguenay-Le Fjord Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Contact Nature was named winner of the Service category!
Contact Nature proudly participates in the international collective 1% FOR THE PLANET and donates 1% of its annual sales to the Plein Air Fund 1% for the planet.
In March 2021, we participated in the Les pages vertes eco-responsible certification program. It is with great pride that we have now reached the third and last level – eco-responsible excellence – with a rating of 86%. Contact Nature is continuing its approach in order to increase its percentage even more.
