Aventure Canogamie

Steeped in history, Lac-Kénogami was for more than 250 years at the center of a large network of fur trading between Saguenay, Lac Saint-Jean and Baie-James. Its original name in Innu means the long lake. Canoes navigated its waters, carrying skins towards Chicoutimi and Tadoussac.

Today, you have the chance to be able to navigate these waters and reconnect with Quebec’s roots in the most traditional way possible. The proposed circuits will satisfy history curious, sports enthusiasts and nature lovers. You will live an unforgettable experience conducive to the observation of flora and fauna, in addition to tasting delicious gourmet meals made with products from the region. Let yourself be charmed by one of the most beautiful panoramas in the region thanks to the all-inclusive formula. Indeed, with its 136 islands and fine sandy beaches, Lac-Kénogami has everything to enchant you.

All you have to do is bring your belongings and let the guide take care of the rest!

Circuits

Several campsites are set up on the south shore of the lake and are only accessible by hiking or canoeing. The southern portion being practically wild, the circuits will be concentrated in this place. Several routes are available to satisfy all types of customers. The trips are adaptive to the comfort level of the group.
