Canyon + rabaska + black bear observation
This package starts with the hike along the splendid Rivière-à-Mars canyon. Your guide will then accompany you to Lake Côme, where you will have the opportunity to try rabaska, a traditional large canoe. Your adventure ends with the observation of wild black bears. You will have the possibility to observe and photograph them from the top of our safe observatories.
1:00 pm Arrival at the main pavilion. Safety instructions and distribution of equipment (boots, socks, raincoats, mosquito-proof vests, etc.).
1:15 Short hike along a nature trail to see the Rivière-à-Mars canyon.
1:45 Educational presentation on the black bear: Information on its biology, characteristic markings, feeding, habits, reproduction, movement, and habitat.
3:15 Excursion on the lake in a Rabaska canoe.
4:00 Observation of the behaviour of black bears in their habitat.
5:15 Return to the central pavilion. End of adventure.

This option allows you to see the superb Rivière-à-Mars canyon, to be introduced to the culture of the First Nations and observe black bears in a natural environment. Your guide will lead you through these discoveries, answering your questions and sharing their knowledge with you.

Please provide the life jacket for your child if weighs less than 90 lbs. Make sure it is certified for Canada.
Make sure you dress according to the weather. The wind is colder and the sun is stronger on the bay!
