Two new pits accessible to people with reduced mobility

15 October 2019

After the pit 32, it is the pits 31 and 37 (quota pit) of Rivière-à-Mars that have been developed to allow people with reduced mobility to fish for salmon and sea trout.

The funds for these developments were partly raised during the 2018 earnings fishing tournament. Part of the funding also comes from the Quebec Federation for Atlantic Salmon and its River Infrastructure Assistance Program.

Accessibility to fishing is of great importance at Contact Nature. We can not wait to see them in use for the 2020 season!

Remember that Paul's ponds in Au jardin de mon père campsite were also converted this year.

The works are signed Bois spécialité.
