Our team is actively working with Ville Saguenay on possible solutions allowing a pleasant season in the villages despite the situation.
Different scenarios for respecting government instructions (including the curfew) are currently being analyzed.
We can already confirm that the ice rings and entertainment areas will not be set up this season and that the quantity of daily parking tickets will be halved in both villages. There will be no ice events in 2021.
Ice measurements have not started. The ice is not yet thick enough in all of the villages for it to be safe to get there according to CNESST standards. We hope that the measurements can start next week!
