Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) today announced that the ice fishing season for groundfish in the Saguenay Fjord will be extended by one week and will end on March 14, 2021.
We are pleased to note the openness of Fisheries and Oceans Canada and the Canadian Coast Guard to our requests! They showed great listening by extending the groundfish fishing season in the Saguenay Fjord by one week, which had to be shortened.
