Take part in the annual benefit tournament of Rivière-à-Mars between July 15 and August 15, 2020!
The 5th edition of the 100% release fundraising tournament will be marked by a whole new concept of initiation to fly fishing!
Procedure
Team of 2 people.
Choose your day of participation in the tournament between July 15 and August 15. You will be assigned a random fishing holes route!
Take a photo of your catch before releasing it and send it to us to try to win the tournament!
Please note that release and barbless hooks will be mandatory.
Only one entry per team. A person cannot be part of more than one team.
Price per team
- $ 75 if your team has an apprentice fisherman! Young or old, man or woman! Minimum age: 12 years old.
- $ 150 if your team is made up of two experienced fishermen.
The cost includes dinner on your tournament day, access rights and equipment rental for teams with an apprentice salmon fisherman.
Salmon license not included.
Who is considered an apprentice fisherman? Anyone who is in their first fly throws. The initiate must be a beginner who wishes to acquire basic notions on fly fishing and salmon fishing.
Honorary president
We are fortunate to welcome Mr. Ghislain Villeneuve from Desjardins as honorary president. Mr. Villeneuve, having been vice-president for several years and having been a director since 1984, is one of the pillars of the board of directors.
Online auction
There will be an online auction with many interesting articles and packages throughout the month of the tournament! This year, the funds raised will be used to promote access to the outdoors for people in vulnerable situations in the region.
