Snowshoeing

Treat yourself to a guided snowshoe hike through the boreal forest. Come and see the Passe-du-Matelot and its spectacular scenery. You will cross an impressive natural corridor between two walls of rock that rise around you. Our four specially designed trails will wrap you in a magical world.

Duration : 3.5 hours
Cost: $30 /person (minimum of 3 people per departure)

Difficulty level: Easy to intermediate. It is suitable for people who walk regularly. It is important to have a good physical condition. We must also consider the amounts of snow and the weather. 

Height difference: Average level
Distance : 4 km

Required equipment: You must wear winter sportswear to be comfortable during your hike.

Clothing: Warm and comfortable hiking boots, insulating stockings and underwear, mittens, hats and scarves or neck warmers, full snow suit (coat and pants). In snowshoes, the multilayer system (several clothes superimposed) is very practical.

Ice fishing initiation

An outdoor adventure that’s out of the ordinary! Accompanied by an experienced guide, you will explore the world of ice fishing at one of the world’s largest ice fishing villages. In a portable heated tent, you will discover secret places on the Saguenay Fjord.
