Cross-country skiing

Bec-Scie is known as one of the most beautiful cross-country ski centers in Quebec. You will be surprised by the beauty of the landscape and the unparalleled quality of the trails. More than 20 kilometers of marked trails are waiting for you, from beginner to advanced levels. Tracks are a priority for us and are mechanically set every day whenever possible. Also enjoy our waxing room and locker rental on site. Feel free to take a break in our heated huts during your day. Have a great ski!

Dog Sports

For lovers of winter canine sports, Bec-Scie has a 2 km track for the practice of skijoring or kicksledding. Who says your canine athlete does not like winter?

Jack Rabbit Cross Country Ski School - unavailable

Registrations are open for Jack Rabbit cross-country ski lessons at the Bec-Scie Outdoor Center in January 2021. Lessons are aimed at children aged 5 to 12 and are free!

The lessons are given by a certified Ski de fond Québec trainer.

Equipment is provided for lessons and disinfected before and after use.

Lessons will take place every weekend from January to March. (The time will be confirmed to you by email)

Register online or at 418 697-5132 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Note that a deposit of $ 20 is required upon registration. This deposit is refunded after the session if the young person has been present at 60% of the sessions. You will have the possibility to transform your $ 20 into a Contact Nature membership card and benefit from the advantages granted to members. If the region remains in the red zone, your deposit will be fully refunded.

Snowshoeing

For an enchanting day of snowshoeing, Bec-Scie is the place to be in Saguenay. You will pass through an impressive natural corridor between two walls of rock that rise on both sides. Breathtaking! Feel free to take a break in our heated huts. Four trails are specially groomed for snowshoeing.

Fatbike

In the winter at Bec-Scie, mountain bike enthusiasts can enjoy a sport that is gaining popularity: the fatbike. These oversized tire bikes are suitable for riding in the snow on specially designed tracks. The Bec-Scie outdoor center offers two trails for a total of 4.2 km. Welcome to fatbike lovers!

Children's slide

Bec-Scie now has a snow slide for children. Come and enjoy it for free!

It is located very close to the Jack Rabbit trail. Please go to the reception first.

You can bring your own sledges or borrow “Crazy Carpets” free of charge from the reception chalet every day between 8 am and 4 pm.

Snowmobile Relay

Snowmobiling or quading in the Saguenay? Make a stop at the Bec-Scie Outdoor Center, where you will find a warm atmosphere and a good fire. Located near the provincial and regional tracks, our relay is a must on your way!
